INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME OF THE BLOG


When an artist decides to make a painting, he "conceives" a picture. He then takes out the canvas, brushes and paint. After getting out all he may need, the artist starts picking out the colours and brushes he wants to use...then; he begins! Now, somewhere during the process of this painting he comes to the point where he decides to use a very fine brush to put in the some detail on the painting, but for some reason that brush just does not want to work...and having to finish the painting, the artist chooses another brush which even though it is not as fine (able) as the previous brush becomes a skilful wand in the hands of the artist, not due to the capabilities of the brush...no, due to the willingness!

Mat 22:14 for many are called, but few are chosen...

I believe this scripture does not refer to God having favourites and therefore does not want to choose some, but rather because some are consistently refusing God's grace and love to shape and mold their hearts.

Do you realize just how much God loves you...? He created the universe with words, yet He took the time to mold, shape and create you...this has to make you wonder; who is this God that thought of me before the foundation of the earth and if He thought of me, that must mean that I am worth so much in His hands...?


SEEK TO NOT KNOW OF JESUS BUT TO KNOW JESUS

I believe that we are in a season where God no longer wants us to "take" Him to the people as a fixer, but as a source of life and life abundance and the only way we can truly do that is by showing people what it means to live a life embodied by the Spirit of Christ...we need to show people who Christ is in and through us and want to be in and through them.

When you seek Jesus as a fixer, you know of Him and what He can do, but you still do not know Him. - This is not faith

BUT

When you know Jesus as your salvation, you no longer seek Him because you know that you found Him and you no longer have to look outward but instead you can just look inward because He is inside of you and just waiting to reveal Himself strong and mighty through you. - This is faith

Faith is a continual trusting and reliance on Jesus as the source of life (and all that it entails), knowing that what He said will be!

2 Corinthians 2:14 Amplified

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.

May prayer for everyone reading this today is that you will not only know of Jesus and what He can do, but that you will know Him personally and what He wants to be in and through you. That you will truly fall in love with Him and that He will be your first love and your source of life and may the life you live be one of excellence portraying the very essence of the King and Lord you now embody within you.

Cause then you become part of the army of heaven proclaiming the kingdom of God in WORD AND IN POWER.

1 Corinthians 4:20 Amplified

For the kingdom of God is not based on talk but on power.
