INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME OF THE BLOG

When an artist decides to make a painting, he "conceives" a picture. He then takes out the canvas, brushes and paint. After getting out all he may need, the artist starts picking out the colours and brushes he wants to use...then; he begins! Now, somewhere during the process of this painting he comes to the point where he decides to use a very fine brush to put in the some detail on the painting, but for some reason that brush just does not want to work...and having to finish the painting, the artist chooses another brush which even though it is not as fine (able) as the previous brush becomes a skilful wand in the hands of the artist, not due to the capabilities of the brush...no, due to the willingness!

Mat 22:14 for many are called, but few are chosen...

I believe this scripture does not refer to God having favourites and therefore does not want to choose some, but rather because some are consistently refusing God's grace and love to shape and mold their hearts.

Do you realize just how much God loves you...? He created the universe with words, yet He took the time to mold, shape and create you...this has to make you wonder; who is this God that thought of me before the foundation of the earth and if He thought of me, that must mean that I am worth so much in His hands...?

THERE IS ALWAYS A WITNESS, WHAT OR WHO IS YOURS?

Choosing Life in the Presence of Death Scripture does not allow humanity the comfort of neutrality. From the beginning, God places before us a choice...life or death, blessing or curse, obedience or rebellion, faith or fear. This reality is made unmistakably clear when God declares, “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19). These words are not merely theological abstractions. They speak into lived reality. Every decision carries weight. Every action sets something in motion and every moment of crisis becomes a crossroads where the future is quietly being shaped. Few biblical narratives reveal this truth with as much gravity as the story of the Nile in the book of Exodus. The river stands as more than geography. It becomes testimony. The same waters that bore death would later become the means of life. The same river that absorbed injustice would eventually carry deliverance. Through it all, God revealed both His power to re...

IS IT FINISHED OR ARE YOU DEMINISHED?

The Power of Forgiveness: My Journey to Healing Sixteen years ago, the Lord made a covenant with me, promising that there would be a child. Since 2009, my life has been marked by both trials and triumphs. I firmly believe that while the fulfilment of His promise is connected to time, it is also dependent on my covenant heart towards His. It requires my willingness to honour Him as Lord of my life, trusting that He holds my heart and enables me to fulfil His will. His love for me is so profound that He sacrificed everything, even His own life…so that I may not only receive His promise but experience it in full measure, to the point of overflow. For years, I struggled with recurring patterns in my life, obstacles that kept resurfacing and hindering me in ways I didn’t fully comprehend. From the age of four until sixteen, I was molested. The trauma of those years left deep wounds in my heart, and although I believed I had forgiven, subtle traces of unforgiveness lingered within me. By God...

TURN THE OTHER CHEEK and MAKE YOUR ENEMY WEAK

The Story of Samson: A Lesson in Righteousness from God’s Perspective In 2023, while leading a discussion with my students, I felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to explore the story of Samson, a man whose life is often seen through the lens of personal strength, vengeance, and tragic consequences. Yet, the deeper I dove into his story, the more I realized that Samson’s life offers profound insights into the difference between man’s perception of righteousness and God’s perfect understanding of it. In our conversation, we reflected on the theme of righteousness; specifically, how human beings tend to measure it in terms of personal actions and retribution, while God’s perspective is rooted in mercy, grace, and purpose. Samson's Riddle: A Glimpse into God’s Wisdom In Judges 14:14, we find Samson challenging the Philistine guests with a riddle: "Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet." At first glance, this riddle appears to be mere...

Is there Hope in your blood?

This evening I am captured by the Spirit of God and what is gripping my soul is that there is HOPE for our nation and the hope is carried in His blood and that hope is now also in my blood, for we are one. The difference between giving a prophetic word and being called to the office of the prophet: Anyone that hears and recognizes God's voice can prophecy according to what he/she has heard but the one called to the office of the Prophet...hears God, then goes through fire so that the heart is purified for he needs to also see God, so that he/she can become the revelation of God (embodiment of the Word) to the nation/s through the Message of Hope he/she carries in their blood... All are called to prophecy often as it is an outflow of your relationship with God but NOT ALL are chosen for the office of the Prophet because not all are willing to commit to Him and His heart's message no matter the cost...This is what it means to be in a covenant relationship with God as Jesus Christ...

SEEK PURE GOLD, SEEK HIS HEART

I do not know about you but I have always had this feeling in my heart that I was made for something GREAT...and because of that my heart is never content...but always seeking more. Even after my rebirth into the kingdom/family of God, I still have this feeling. However, now this feeling is no longer from a place of fear as it was before my rebirth but from a place of being loved, having love and wanting to share LOVE with the world and His name is God Almighty who gave His Son Jesus Christ as atonement for for our sins, so that if we choose to believe in Him we may have the opportunity be re-conciled with HIM.     Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amp God Set Eternity in the Heart of Man 11 He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beg...

LOVE...WHAT IS LOVE AND DO YOU TRULY KNOW LOVE?

Do you know LOVE ? Have you gazed into HIS EYES , whilst hanging on your cross? Have you ever been cursed, falsely accused, beaten, spit on, humiliated, rejected by the ones you care for, left for dead...? Have all of the above or some of the above been done to you after you gave your heart, your help, your time, yourself to the person? Now, my question...do you still love that person with all of your heart and do you still look to that person with JOY in your HEART and HOPE in your EYES ? If yes, then you are tapping into the ONE called LOVE and His name is Jesus Christ ! Jesus Christ's destiny was to lay Himself down for the world, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him will not perish but have eternal life... Picture this... The very people whom Jesus loved so much that He was willing to die for them was the very ones who cursed Him, falsely accused Him, beaten Him, spit on Him, humiliated Him, rejected Him and ultimately left Him for dead...Y...

GOD'S GLORY FOR YOUR CROWN

ARE YOU PREPARED TO TAKE OF YOUR CROWN FOR... THE GLORY OF GOD?  In 2013, God gave me a vision and in this vision I was up in the sky above the clouds where I then saw the Lord asking me to step closer to the edge so that I can see what He wants to show me. He started to point and say I am going to send you there and as I looked, I could only see clouds but in my spirit I knew He was busy showing me a continent, so I asked Him Lord what are you busy showing me because I can not see anything and immediately the continent appeared and in my spirit I knew it was Northern America. When I started to realize what he had just said...I started crying...saying Lord, how will I get there as I do not have the means to get there as I do not have any money and whilst I was still busy crying an eagle came and swooped me up. As we started to approach the place that he was taking me to, I could see the 24 elders standing in a half-moon in front of the throne saying holy holy is the L...

VISION BRINGS HOPE AND HOPE IS FEARLESS!

Lately I find myself thinking why? Why am I still hoping, why am I still thinking that my life is meant for greatness even though I am currently not doing anything great by my measure... See, I have always been a very big dreamer...seeing myself amount to greatness, achieving the impossible and reaching the unreachable because I felt extra ordinary, like my life was not meant to be lived ordinary but that it was meant to stand out, make a difference and change history for generations to come much like all the beacons of hope in the bible. Having this in my heart, when I were to watch stories like Snow White, Cinderella and The Land Before Time I would hear the following in my heart Snow white - When your heart is good and your intentions pure, you will always triumph over evil. Cinderella - No matter what may happen in life and how many times you may be treated badly or not be noticed, there will come a time when people will see you for the princes that you really are and you...

HUMILITY THE KEY TO WALKING IN AUTHORITY AND YOUR DESTINY!

Last year (Oct 2014) I was at Kozi Bay on an outreach and in that time God spoke to me about stepping into the destiny that He has proclaimed over me and the way He did this was by changing my perspective this is what I learned from the Lord: The Lord says that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, so by default we should submit and surrender to the fact that His ways and thoughts are not our ways and thoughts. Now taking this in consideration we can clearly see the difference between one being prideful and one being humble when we look at Saul when he was anointed and David when he was anointed. Saul was clearly from the start prideful as he continuously looked to himself rather than to submit to Gods ways for him and thoughts over him. To be prideful is to hear Gods voice (what He speaks to and over you) and NOT submit and surrender to it, which ultimately cause you to NOT walk according to Gods will but instead you will follo...
