INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME OF THE BLOG

When an artist decides to make a painting, he "conceives" a picture. He then takes out the canvas, brushes and paint. After getting out all he may need, the artist starts picking out the colours and brushes he wants to use...then; he begins! Now, somewhere during the process of this painting he comes to the point where he decides to use a very fine brush to put in the some detail on the painting, but for some reason that brush just does not want to work...and having to finish the painting, the artist chooses another brush which even though it is not as fine (able) as the previous brush becomes a skilful wand in the hands of the artist, not due to the capabilities of the brush...no, due to the willingness!

Mat 22:14 for many are called, but few are chosen...

I believe this scripture does not refer to God having favourites and therefore does not want to choose some, but rather because some are consistently refusing God's grace and love to shape and mold their hearts.

Do you realize just how much God loves you...? He created the universe with words, yet He took the time to mold, shape and create you...this has to make you wonder; who is this God that thought of me before the foundation of the earth and if He thought of me, that must mean that I am worth so much in His hands...?

Church, do you have a Deceptive or Inceptive Perspective?

This last week my spirit is deeply moved for our nation and the nations as I am aware that we are headed for a time of trials and many of us will be caught off guard…as many of us are still bound because of wrong perceptions which the enemy has enforced on us in an attempt to keep us from stepping out or continuing to stand in our higher calling.

Many TRUTH leaders are being called in this hour to STEP OUT, PROCLAIM and LIVE the LIFE and TEACHINGS of JESUS CHRIST, that sets free and brings forth life and life abounding not just on a personal level but on a national level.

For years I have been sitting with an understanding that you do not oppose your leaders, but you pray for your leaders so that it may go well with your nation, church etc. However, I was given a new revelation in 2020 as I was seeking the Lord regarding the difference between earthly government and the kingdom of God. The Lord showed me how the devil uses scripture and people’s limited interpretation thereof to bind the church, rendering it ineffective to the society at large.

Why am I saying this?

All of the God ordained prophets in the bible were "involved" with "politics" as their mandate was to give God's direction (through correction and/or affirmation) and guidance to other priests, prophets, kings, lords and the people they served.

THAT IS CALLED EFFECTIVE CHURCH!

When Jesus came to earth Jerusalem was on the verge of civil war due to a governmental system and belief system that was causing strain and conflict of character. However, when Jesus started to make his public appearance and started teaching, it soon became very clear that what He was busy teaching did not align with the motives and intentions of the teachings being given at that time. As both the governing of the Romans and the teachings of the Pharisees was being driven by motives and intentions of self-preservation, manipulation, and oppression. Therefore, the governing that was being practiced by the Romans and enforced by the Pharisees and Scribes (Church) at that time caused many to be bound as the ones (Church) that held the authority to make free the spirit and soul of man from eternal death and condemnation, intentionally chose to interpret the law in such a way that best cradled their fear of persecution and unbelief of the WORD of God. They also made sure to oppress anyone who dared stepped out of that binding in an attempt to gain true freedom for which the law was originally intended.

This is revealed through the following scripture:

Mathew 23: 13

13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces; for you neither enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are about to go in to do so.

(However, read the full chapter to see the context and how it aligns with what is being shared in this post)

Please take note: when I speak of the law, I am not referring to the law of Moses…I am referring to the covenant of God given to Moses on mount Sinai. (See the scripture in RED below)

Remember, Jesus did not make it his business to step into politics however his mandate to preach freedom and the government (Kingdom) of God came into direct conflict with those in places of authority in that time which were the Roman rule but more importantly the Pharisees (The Church)... The civil war in church (Bride and the Church) is what happened in the time of Jesus because he was busy using the word of God to make loose what had previously been used by the Pharisees to bind people for their own agendas and selfish needs…

TRUTH through FEAR and UNBELIEF confines people to bondage

… but …

TRUTH trough LOVE and FAITH sets people FREE!

The Ten Commandments

20 Then God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself any idol, or any likeness (form, manifestation) of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth [as an object to worship]. 5 You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous (impassioned) God [[a]demanding what is rightfully and uniquely mine], visiting (avenging) the iniquity (sin, guilt) of the fathers on the children [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers], to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing graciousness and steadfast lovingkindness to thousands [of generations] of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain [that is, irreverently, in false affirmations or in ways that impugn the character of God]; for the Lord will not hold guiltless nor leave unpunished the one who [b]takes His name in vain [disregarding its reverence and its power].

8 “Remember the Sabbath (seventh) day to keep it holy (set apart, dedicated to God). 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath [a day of rest dedicated] to the Lord your God; on that day you shall not do any work, you or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock or the temporary resident (foreigner) who stays within your [city] gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested (ceased) on the seventh day. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy [that is, set it apart for His purposes].

12 “Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land the Lord your God gives you.

13 “You shall not commit murder (unjustified, deliberate homicide).

14 “You shall not commit [c]adultery.

15 “You shall not steal [secretly, openly, fraudulently, or through carelessness].

16 “You shall not testify falsely [that is, lie, withhold, or manipulate the truth] against your neighbor (any person).

17 “You shall not covet [that is, selfishly desire and attempt to acquire] your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

18 Now all the people witnessed the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the smoking mountain; and as they looked, the people were afraid, and they trembled [and moved backward] and stood at a [safe] distance. 19 Then they said to Moses, “You speak to us and we will listen, but do not let God speak to us or we will die.” 20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him [that is, a profound reverence for Him] will remain with you, so that you do not sin.” 21 So the people stood at a [safe] distance, but Moses approached the thick cloud where God was.

22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the Israelites, ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven. 23 You shall not make other gods [to worship] besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make [these lifeless idols] for yourselves. 24 You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I cause My Name to be recorded and remembered [through revelation of My divine nature] I will come to you and bless you. 25 If you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you use a chisel on it, you will [d]profane it. 26 Nor shall you go up to My altar on steps, so that your nakedness will not be [e]exposed on it.’

This covenant was given to the nation of Israel as a marriage covenant made between God and His people thereby giving an outline of what the covenant would entail for the union to be sealed in love, filled with power and built on unshakable principles.

The law was never meant to enslave but was always meant to bring forth life and freedom by keeping us from the condemnation and death that comes from sin. It was also meant to remind us that we are called, consecrated and set apart for His will and purposes. Although it is wisdom to fear and revere God and His precepts, it should be our love for Him and His precepts that compels and drive us to continually seek His heart more than our own because if we truly get this then we would know that in seeking to do His will and live according to His ways we will always be delighted, content, feel loved and belong as we will be in unity with our Maker, the Lover of our souls.

Having said the above, I am calling on all Church leaders to ask the Holy Spirit to judge your motive and intentions for preaching the Gospel, so that you may be convicted and have the opportunity to repent and be redeemed in your position (of authority) to preach and teach the Gospel according to the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ NOT according to your tainted and thwarted interpretation thereof. Furthermore, I am calling on all Christians to seek God’s will and purpose for your life as we are all called according to His name and send according to His purpose for our lives. Therefore, let your life in response be a living sacrifice to this call and may each child of God not only know and have insight into the freedom that lies within this TRUTH but may you live out your mandate to take that freedom to the nation/s, so that every person may experience and benefit from this truth as well.

Every one of us are called to Jesus Christ (The WAY), then we are guided through the Holy Spirit to follow Him through observance and application of His Life and Teachings (The TRUTH) which leads to freedom (The LIFE). This calling comes with a mandate to not only attain this for yourself but to take what you receive and give to those who have not yet received, so that they too may have and know WHO you know.

I pray that whatever binding has been placed on you through leaders of darkness will be broken and that the TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST will set you FREE to step into that which you have been called and purposed.

Ephesians 6:10-20 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.

16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

19 And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),

20 For which I am an ambassador in a coupling chain [in prison. Pray] that I may declare it boldly and courageously, as I ought to do.

Bless you!
