INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME OF THE BLOG

When an artist decides to make a painting, he "conceives" a picture. He then takes out the canvas, brushes and paint. After getting out all he may need, the artist starts picking out the colours and brushes he wants to use...then; he begins! Now, somewhere during the process of this painting he comes to the point where he decides to use a very fine brush to put in the some detail on the painting, but for some reason that brush just does not want to work...and having to finish the painting, the artist chooses another brush which even though it is not as fine (able) as the previous brush becomes a skilful wand in the hands of the artist, not due to the capabilities of the brush...no, due to the willingness!

Mat 22:14 for many are called, but few are chosen...

I believe this scripture does not refer to God having favourites and therefore does not want to choose some, but rather because some are consistently refusing God's grace and love to shape and mold their hearts.

Do you realize just how much God loves you...? He created the universe with words, yet He took the time to mold, shape and create you...this has to make you wonder; who is this God that thought of me before the foundation of the earth and if He thought of me, that must mean that I am worth so much in His hands...?

SA GET READY!

This is a word that comes as an...

instruction from God to His disciples to pray and keep watch

in this season of trial and tribulation that we are going to go through before...

we will share in the great outpouring of His glory in and through this nation to Africa and the nations of the world.

Let not this coming season find you unprepared lest you try to defend/preach the gospel from a place of fear and violence instead of faith and love...and may you be empowered by His Holy Spirit to stand in the midst of persecution without compromising and denying the life and teachings (Character and values) observed from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, so that the Spirit of Prophecy may be released in and through your life to give birth to a better narrative in South Africa that establishes righteousness, peace and love.

Let us pray in this hour, not so that this cup passes before us but so that we might embrace this cup from a place of victory, giving thanks to God by displaying His love and grace poured out on the cross for all.

The fervent prayer of a righteous avails much as it enables His Holy Spirit to empower us so that we become the vessels whom God can use to change the narritive by first changing us in the midst of the labour (trying/trial) period that precedes the birthing period.

Matthew 26:36-46 Amplified Bible

The Garden of Gethsemane

36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called [a]Gethsemane (olive-press), and He told His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee [James and John], He began to be grieved and greatly distressed. 38 Then He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and stay awake and keep watch with Me.”

39 And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this cup [b]pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” 40 And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “So, you men could not stay awake and keep watch with Me for one hour? 41 Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the [c]body is weak.”

42 He went away a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43 Again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words once more. 45 Then He returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Listen, [d]the hour [of My sacrifice] is at hand and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners [whose way and nature is to oppose God]. 46 Get up, let us go. Look, My betrayer is near!”
