INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME OF THE BLOG

When an artist decides to make a painting, he "conceives" a picture. He then takes out the canvas, brushes and paint. After getting out all he may need, the artist starts picking out the colours and brushes he wants to use...then; he begins! Now, somewhere during the process of this painting he comes to the point where he decides to use a very fine brush to put in the some detail on the painting, but for some reason that brush just does not want to work...and having to finish the painting, the artist chooses another brush which even though it is not as fine (able) as the previous brush becomes a skilful wand in the hands of the artist, not due to the capabilities of the brush...no, due to the willingness!

Mat 22:14 for many are called, but few are chosen...

I believe this scripture does not refer to God having favourites and therefore does not want to choose some, but rather because some are consistently refusing God's grace and love to shape and mold their hearts.

Do you realize just how much God loves you...? He created the universe with words, yet He took the time to mold, shape and create you...this has to make you wonder; who is this God that thought of me before the foundation of the earth and if He thought of me, that must mean that I am worth so much in His hands...?

PIONEERING FAITH, ACTIVATES CREATIVE POWER

Prior to 2018 the Lord started talking to me about "The Great Exodus" that will take place in 2018 and when 2018 approached I was just about to release a post explaining what the Lord was busy revealing to me, when the Lord stopped me and said that the season has been extended by another season and when I asked the Lord how long this season will be, He took me to the book of Daniel where it talks about time, times and half a time. Hence, I knew that He was saying to me that the season had been extended by 3.5 years.

This year we are at the end of the extended season and many will be called to STEP OUT (move).

Note:

The move aka "The Great Exodus" that the Lord has been talking to me about is primarily about a NEXT LEVEL of FAITH but for many (not all), the next level of faith will be accompanied by relocating, instead of just repositioning within your current location and/or situation.

Today I am writing this post to say:

Get ready because soon many will be called to "step out of the boat". I believe that if you are reading this post and what is being said resonates with your heart, then you are one of the called and already know this but you are uncertain because of the intensity of the next level of reliance required. However, I do know that the Lord is saying...

RELY ON Me in ALL things as I make ALL things work together for good, for those who love Me and are called according to My plan and purpose...Peter stepped out of the boat not having anything (to assure his stepping on water and not sinking) but My commandment (COME) and His RELIANCE ON Me. Yet, his RELIANCE ON Me is what activated My power to do a creative miracle and establish Him in what I have destined him...which was to WALK IN the revelation of who I am, not who people perceive me to be.

Matthew 14:22-33 Amplified Bible

Jesus Walks on the Water

22 Immediately He directed the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side [of the Sea of Galilee], while He sent the crowds away. 23 After He had dismissed the crowds, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When it was evening, He was there alone. 24 But the boat [by this time] was already a [a]long distance from land, tossed and battered by the waves; for the wind was against them. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night (3:00-6:00 a.m.) Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. 26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately He spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!”

28 Peter replied to Him, “Lord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 He said, “Come!” So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus extended His hand and caught him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you [b]doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Then those in the boat worshiped Him [with awe-inspired reverence], saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”

In Mat 14 we read how Jesus directed the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side of the sea of Galilea. However, their journey was nothing but smooth...as the boat they were in was tossed and battered because the wind was against them. Hence, the disciples were in despair because of the great storm they found themselves in and on top of that, during the fourth watch of the morning a "ghost" appeared on the water which intensified the situation even more. However, Peter did not believe it was a "ghost", instead he believed it was Jesus and to confirm his belief...he asked Jesus to command him to come and I believe that Peter did this because he knew that His commandment when heeded out of faith, hope and love will be accompanied by power (signs, miracles and wonders)...but...Peter's confirmation would only be established AFTER he was willing to STEP OUT, RELY ON and WALK IN faith, not PRIOR to...

Many times...just like the disciples, we do what the Lord asks us to do but then we start to encounter a storm that contests our obedience and in the midst of the storm we will have a choice to make...we can then either choose to see death approaching OR we can choose to see LIFE in the situation and ask HIM to command us in TRUTH which will make a WAY for us to walk "on top" of our adversary and towards HIM. However, when we do heed his commandment in faith, it is crucial that we keep our focus on Him and not get distracted by the effects of our adversary lest we start to sink.

Having said all of the above I pray that as you read this, may Jesus Christ come and meet you in the midst of the storm you currently find yourself in and may you choose to see LIFE instead of death, so that you may hear what it is that He is speaking to your heart and may you be filled with His Holy Spirit to STEP OUT, RELY ON and WALK ON His WORD which will be accompanied by God's power so that you may truly get a revelation of who Jesus Christ is and Who he wants to be for, in and through you.

I did this prophetic painting that symbolizes the above said and hence the name of the painting is:

Pioneering Faith in Jesus Christ, activates God's Creative Power in your life
